Published on November 30, 1957, just a few months before Shigeru Mizuki's manga artist debut with Rocketman (Usagi Publishing/February 25, 1958), Akadenwa (Red Telephone) by Kenji Miyako was published by Usagi Publishing. The giant robot that appears in the final scene of Akadenwa is the same one that appears in Mizuki's debut work, so it is undoubtedly a Mizuki work, even though it is a co-authored work, and that is why it is called a phantom debut work. The existence of a shadowy figure reminiscent of Kitaro is a very interesting work that also reveals the industry's intentions to tentatively introduce the next generation of aces who would carry the future rental manga. Akadenwa, which is traded for around 500,000 yen in the market, was reprinted by Mandarake in 1998 in a limited edition of 250 copies. This volume is numbered 215, and the condition is very good, with no noticeable damage, probably because the previous owner took good care of it. A complete set including the A5-size hardcover book, a cover to store the book, a special cardboard box to store the book with the cover, the publication announcement at the time of publication, a thank-you note, and a vinyl cover.
