No matter how many balls you hit with the wrong swing, you will never improve or hit the ball further. So, what is the "correct swing" and how can you acquire it? We believe that the correct swing is one that doesn't put a strain on the body. There is a concept called "swing plane," first proposed by Ben Hogan. It was described as a "glass plane" at the time, but recently it's also called "on-plane swing." We believe that this "on-plane swing" is the least stressful on the body and leads to improved golf and increased distance. Acquire the "correct swing = on-plane swing." "On-plane swing" refers to a swing where the club's path from backswing to follow-through appears to be on a single plane (Ben Hogan called it a glass plane). This swing transmits the most power to the ball and is also a beautiful swing. Professional golfers often use baseball bats for training in practice. In fact, we believe this is the best golf practice for amateurs as well. You can easily lift light objects (golf clubs) with your hands, but you can't easily lift heavy objects (baseball bats) with your hands. If you try to swing a bat by lifting it with your hands, you won't be able to swing it fast, and your balance will be off, making continuous practice impossible. We believe that swinging heavy objects helps you acquire a "correct swing = on-plane swing" that doesn't rely on your hands and uses your entire body for good balance.
