The zoom ring is a little stiff (feels like the grease is gone), but I didn't have any particular concerns while using it otherwise. Appearance: I think it's clean for its age (please check the photos) Optics: I don't think there is any mold or clouding. There is some dust on the front element and balsam separation on the middle element, but I think it's to the extent that it doesn't affect the image. Even when shooting in backlight, I didn't experience more flare or ghosting compared to other lenses (please check the sample photos).
