The fabric is printed by repeatedly stamping with woodblocks carved by hand. It's a smooth-to-the-touch cotton and is thin enough that it's not see-through. Recommended for spring/summer clothing and curtains. Because the fabric is hand-printed, there may be color unevenness and print misalignments, but that creates the unique atmosphere of hand-block printing, such as its fluctuations and three-dimensionality. The color may fade initially, so we recommend washing it separately. Also, when washing, using a gentle detergent without fluorescent agents or bleach (such as Sarasa) will help the color last longer.
