I rarely used it as a portable player/smartphone, and mainly used it stationary in the following situations, primarily in direct power mode: * At home, connected to a pre-main amplifier via 3.5mm SPDIF output. * In the car, connected to a receiver or converter via Bluetooth or USB output to a DSP. I always used it with the included silicone case. The display has no noticeable scratches other than minor ones.
