The "GRECO BOOGIE BG800 + Kahler" is an original model from the Boogie series, produced from 1980 to 1983. While it has a similar appearance to Fender guitars, it features a medium scale, set neck, and a body and neck made of mahogany, similar to a Les Paul. A key feature is the "Baby Gang" pickup developed specifically for this guitar. The blender knob allows for seamless adjustment between the single-coil sound of the rear pickup and the humbucker sound. The reverse headstock also makes a significant visual impact, and the "Greco" inscription on the back of the tuners hints at its high-grade quality. This particular guitar was manufactured in May 1982 and has a nut width of 40.5mm. The bridge has been replaced with a Kahler, enabling arming that was not originally possible. The nut has also been replaced accordingly. The Kahler tremolo offers smooth playability with seamless pitch changes and excellent tuning stability. It has a wide range of motion for both up and down bends, while allowing for fine adjustments of string height and string spacing.
