This is a kimono that my grandfather, a Japanese tailoring instructor, made for my mother. It has been stored for a long time, but it's in very good condition as it was only worn indoors for a few hours! The pattern is a cute orange and blue check. I'm not sure of the material, but it seems to be wool-like fabric. This kimono has sentimental value, but I don't have the opportunity to wear it, so I would like to pass it on to someone who will cherish it. It comes with a long undergarment (nagajuban) made of cotton-like material, as shown in photo 10! *The nagajuban has slight collar stains.
