This is a tea bowl by Shohachi Taniguchi, a renowned ceramic artist from Seto, made for the Imperial command. The overall white color with depictions of mountains and plants, along with the green glaze, makes this a tea bowl that truly evokes spring. The inner surface also has a crackle pattern throughout. As it was made for the Imperial command on the theme of "Spring," it is believed to have been made in 2002 (Heisei 14). It is an unused item and has been stored at home.
