The bag is made by connecting 13 patterns of block prints procured in India, with a quilt batting and quilted all over with 1cm stitches. The design is the same on both sides. The bag is surprisingly light, but the quilting makes it durable. It has been pre-washed, so the unique smell of Indian cotton has been almost completely removed. The handles are soft and easy to hold. They are long enough to be carried over the shoulder or on the arm. Size: Width 41cm x Height 26cm Gusset: 13cm Handle length: 45cm, with slight variations Each piece is a one-of-a-kind item, as the fabrics are purchased and patched together individually. Sewing and stains are concerns with block prints, but we have tailored the bag to address these issues.
