A set of 5 bowls: 2 large bowls and 3 small bowls, dating from the Taisho to early Showa periods. Size (approx.): Large Bowl: Diameter...12cm, Height...7cm Lid: Diameter...11cm, Height...5cm The cool thing about these handmade bowls is the splashes of red lacquer on the outside, which adds to the scenery. The shape of the bowls is also beautiful, so I just enjoyed looking at them as decoration. Both large bowls have some lacquer peeling on the rims. Some of the small bowls are in good condition, but others have signs of repair. Horizontal lines, like cracks, appear due to aging. The lacquer has a good shine, and being wooden bowls, they fit comfortably in the hand. There is a shop name in red lacquer on the foot. Offered at a low price.
