The color scheme and the size and balance of the stones (beads) are well-done, so it's not flashy. The braided cord?! balls are a nice accent. With a moderate volume, it's elegant when paired with a turtleneck or a simple dress. It looks heavy, but it's light. I've worn it twice with black and gray turtleneck sweaters. I think it would also go well with beige, dark green, blue-gray, and greige. I bought it at a Daimaru event (a craft exhibition where artisans from all over the country gather).
