This is a single-flower vase by the late Mr. Juroku Harada (a disciple of Master Matasaburo Katsura), who passed away last year. It is a piece with a stunning hi-dasuki (scarlet flame) pattern, and the white patterns of the shelf-like drips have been preserved with minimal care, making it a highlight of the piece. It comes with a matching box, cloth, and a ceramic history. Judging from the ceramic history, it appears to be a relatively early work, but it is a magnificent piece with a beautiful firing. The height is approximately 20 cm. I believe it would be a piece that would look beautiful in a tea room. Thank you for viewing.
