This is a footed hohin (small teapot) by Masuki Murata, a master craftsman of Tokoname ware. This piece has a particularly unique shape among Masuki's works. Its small capacity makes it suitable for gyokuro (high-grade green tea). Please, by all means, experience the wonderful Masuki teapot and use it.
