This belonged to my grandmother, who was born before the war. It's black, and I believe it's a bolt of fabric for an obi, with a lovely flowing water pattern. Length unknown (I don't have the confidence to unroll and re-roll it neatly, so please understand). The obi core that was stored with it is also included as a set (photo 6). It's very old, and there is no odor. I am an amateur, so I don't know the details, please understand. I have a cat, and there are no smokers in the house.
