I was looking for a vacuum tube amplifier and got this one because of its good looks. From the photos, unlike transistor amps, it has a simple knob configuration and a sense of weight. You can enjoy a sound that is moderately aged, something you can't get with a new one. It also has a headphone jack, and the output is small, so it seems useful for practice in apartments and condominiums, as well as for live performances in classrooms.
