Soutache is said to have originated from attaching patterns with special flat braids (soutache) to the cuffs and collars of blouses and jackets worn by European aristocrats. It is made by combining colorful cords with cabochons and beads. The finished product is very light and gorgeous. It is often used for accessories for flamenco and belly dancing, but it is also great for everyday wear ♪ It's very lovely. We made earrings (pierced earrings) using two colors of purple and glittery soutache cords with lame. They are all in purple tones and make a statement!
