Purchased at the Yachimun Festival at BEAMS FENICA in Shinjuku. It's a set of two bowls from Makai. As you can see in the photos, they have a plump and very cute form, typical of Yachimun pottery. The expression changes depending on the viewing angle due to the glaze application. I own many other dishes, so I stored these away almost without using them. The artist is unknown. Thank you.
