The WA76 is a FET compressor that faithfully reproduces the classic "1176," a standard model that adds punchy presence and gloss to vocals, bass, drums, and more. Its analog thickness and speed are appealing, making it suitable for both home recording and mixing. I have confirmed its operation for this sale, and it provides solid compression typical of the 76 series. The meter light seems a bit dim, but I think it has been like this since I bought it. There are no operational problems in particular. It has not been rack-mounted, and there are very minor scratches on the top panel, but it is in generally good condition. Overall, it works without problems and is still in a condition to be fully functional for recording purposes. However, I am not a recording engineer, and I have not performed a full check with professional measuring instruments or a reference environment, so there may be oversights or missed details.
