This is the "FGVC-S" pickup, an upgrade part for the Futra model Stratocaster from Guitar Factory. It's a set of pickups for the front, center, and rear positions. I'm selling these because I no longer use them. Since they are not sold individually, I believe these are rare pickups that are not often available. "These are single-coil pickups that are a step above, thoroughly analyzing vintage guitars from the early 60s. They are authentic specifications, the same as those used at the time, employing USA-made Foamvar coils." Regarding the sound, it has a similar tendency to the sound in the FUTRA Stratocaster video uploaded on Kazuya Yamaguchi's YouTube channel. When the tone is set to full, there's a crisp, raw sound component that seems to cut through. Overall, it has a lively sound. (I think the video has been heavily processed to make the sound good.) The sound characteristics will likely change depending on the guitar you put them in, so please consider this as a reference only. If you're interested after watching the video but don't want to buy the whole guitar... how about giving these a try? The center pickup has non-reverse wiring. It seems that it has been changed to reverse wiring now, so this is also a rare specification. Please refer to the photos for resistance values and wire lengths.
