ICE was formed in 1993 by Kazuyuki Miyauchi (guitar) and Mayumi Kunioka (vocals). Miyauchi's outstanding guitar playing, who originally worked as a studio musician, and Kunioka's sensual and overwhelming vocal ability became a hot topic in the music scene, and they released hit songs such as "BABY MAYBE" (1996) and "CAN'T STOP THE MUSIC" (1998). Their music refined the essence of 60's~70's rock, Motown, and free soul, and arranged it in a danceable way.
