I am currently sorting through my grandfather's belongings. This is a beautiful matcha tea bowl, a treasure from my grandfather, who was a collector of antiques. It has a stunning, radiating pattern with flowing indigo glaze, giving it a very impressive atmosphere. It's an antique, a vintage ceramic piece, a tea ceremony utensil, and a flower arrangement tool. It appears to be quite old. A name is inscribed on the bottom. It was carefully stored in a shelf deep inside the tea room in the storehouse, so I believe it is a very fine item. The bowl is made of wheat-cream colored clay, and the entire surface is covered with a glossy, yellowish glaze. Furthermore, a beautiful, radiating indigo glaze spreads magnificently from the center outwards, both inside and outside. The deep and elegant colors, and the dignified, beautiful shape are truly lovely, and it's a very cool and atmospheric piece. A name is also inscribed, and I believe it is a very old item, so I think it is the work of a great person. However, as his grandchild, I don't know the value, so I would like to offer it to someone who appreciates it. Size: 14cm wide, 6cm high, a very well-balanced piece. I would like to list some of the good items. My grandfather was a hospital director in his lifetime and owned many works, including paintings and ceramics by Living National Treasures, and he boasted about them, so I think they are all very good items. Neither I nor my mother are very interested in antiques, and we don't know which works are by whom or what kind of pottery they are. I don't know if the items I'm listing are Imari ware, Kutani ware, Shigaraki ware, or Seto ware. Even if they are a large number of antiques or wonderful works by Living National Treasures, or very expensive items, I have no idea of their value.
