This is a set of two Usuhari beer glasses from Matsutoku Glass. I received these a few years ago and have been storing them. They are new and unused, but I opened the box for the photos. They appear cloudy, but this should come off with washing. These glasses have a beautiful form with flowing curves designed with a motif of a drum. The beer flows gently from the glass to your mouth, allowing you to enjoy the beer even more. They are easy for women to hold, and make your fingertips look beautiful. These are exquisite, handcrafted pieces, supervised by Hisao Katagiri, a "Contemporary Master Craftsman" with over fifty years of experience as a glass craftsman. This series, named "Usuhari," carefully preserves the techniques used to blow light bulbs, and is handcrafted with care by artisans, one by one. The delicate rim brings out the flavor, and there is a unique taste to the sound of ice and the feel in your hand. Also, being thin doesn't mean they are easily broken.
