My two children used them for about 5 years, starting from when they were in kindergarten. They never wet the bed, and they used them cleanly. There is some flattening of the cotton due to use, but when I bought them, they were quite fluffy and voluminous, about twice as thick as those sold in common children's stores, and it was difficult to put them in the bag. They are not as voluminous as when I bought them now. I was worried that the open-top futon bags and quilted materials would get wet on rainy or snowy days during pick-up and drop-off, so the nylon bag with a zipper that completely closes was very useful. According to the rules of the nursery school in Nagano Prefecture, a towel needed to be sewn onto the head part of the mattress and the part of the duvet that touches the face, so I had a professional tailor sew them on properly. There are some signs of use, such as small pills on the towels and covers, and light stains, but there are no particularly noticeable stains, and I think they can still be used. There are traces of name tags being peeled off and marks from magic marker. Although they never wet the bed, there were some areas that were slightly yellowed. I will list the Princess towel blanket and the sturdy Minnie Mouse blanket that were used together as a set as soon as they are washed, but the price will go up. I will ship them compactly.
