I believe the size is suitable for international carry-on luggage, but please check the size description in the photos as it may vary depending on the airline. I am a woman, and I always put items in bags before placing them in the case. Therefore, both the inside and outside of the case are in very clean condition, and there are no issues with the zippers or handles. The zippers have two pulls that can be combined to attach a TSA lock (lock not included). The drawback is that two of the casters are significantly worn. While not broken, rolling the case is not smooth on uneven surfaces like asphalt. Please consider purchasing with the understanding that the casters will need to be replaced before use. The manufacturer's customer service charges over 4,950 yen per caster for replacement. It's a bit cheaper to take it to a place like Mister Minit. DIY caster replacement kits are available on Amazon for around 1,500 yen for all four wheels, so those who are handy can try that. I'm considering attempting a DIY repair if I have a chance to use it, so I'm not planning to lower the price. Similar Proteca cases are expensive to buy new, so I think it's a good deal for those who don't mind the extra effort. Due to the nature of the item being designed for robust transport, I plan to ship it in a simple package, just a plastic bag, instead of a box. No pets or smokers.
