DiMarzio DP117 pickups have been installed on a new pickguard for a Fender Japan ST72 (11-hole). This model is famous for being used by Yngwie Malmsteen, but its output is quite low, requiring control via the amplifier. However, this allows for deep distortion without the sound quality being compromised, and it works exceptionally well with effects. Of course, a key feature of this pickup is its low noise. USA CTS pots are used, and the volume CTS pot is equipped with a smooth taper circuit to compensate for high-frequency loss when the volume is reduced. Includes CTS POTs, a Fender genuine OAK-5Way selector, a smooth taper circuit, and a new pickguard. Although unused and new, there may be some minor scratches from installation, etc. Also, the pickguard still has its protective sheet attached, so please peel it off before use. Some guitars may require adjustment of the mounting holes, so please understand this. Wiring uses 22AWG cotton cloth wire soaked in wax (excluding the bridge ground wire). A 0.047μF Orange Drop capacitor is included. All plastic parts are new and white. All outputs and tone controls are functioning correctly.
