You will need to provide your own HDMI cable to play with HDMI output. Operation has been confirmed. However, I currently do not have any game discs, so I have not been able to confirm disc reading. I have been playing it for a while, so I believe there should be no problem with reading, but if you are concerned, I recommend purchasing from a store. Please ask any questions you may have before purchasing.
