I found this while cleaning out my parents' house. It's a Fukagawa Seiji otoso set with a maple leaf design. The box says: Commemorating the Reception of the Bust　◯◯◯◯ (Personal Name) September 1959 So it seems to be over 60 years old. Also, on the back of the otoso set, there is a marking: "Commemorating the Reception of the Bust　◯◯◯◯ (Personal Name)" I searched the name on Google, but I couldn't find the person based on the information on the box, so I'm listing it. Although I've hidden it in the images, the actual item you will receive has the markings as they are, so please be aware. There was a memo in the box for otoso use by the family, but it seems like it could also be used for sake vessels and ochoko (small sake cups). Otoso set: Width including spout approx. 13cm, diameter without spout approx. 11cm Height approx. 8.2cm Sake cup: Diameter approx. 6.1cm, Height approx. 2.5cm It's unclear how much it was used. Also, I washed it for the listing. Looking closely at the otoso set, there is a faint horizontal line. It's a single line in the center, so it might be part of the manufacturing process, but it's difficult to see, so please check the last image just in case. Since there is a name on it, I hope someone interested in Showa-era antiques will consider it. Please understand that this item has been stored at home for a long time and has been inspected by an amateur. The wooden box is quite dirty and damaged, and it's wobbly.
