During pregnancy, I was very active and my belly tended to sag from early on, so I used the maternity belt to hold it in place. It held me in place firmly, and because it had Velcro, even I, who am rather lazy, could use it comfortably. I used it during two pregnancies, so there is some pilling and a sense of use.
