Her Kestrel-shaped teapots come in round and elongated versions; this piece is the latter. The spout is shaped like a bird's beak, in a "く" (ku) shape, to prevent dripping when pouring. ✳️ Size ➡️ Height (including lid): approx. 19cm From handle to spout: approx. 18cm ✳️ Production Era ➡️ Based on the backstamp (with a reserve box), it can be estimated to be from 1932 to 1964. ✳️ Condition ➡️ Although it is a vintage earthenware piece from about 80 years ago, it is in good condition with no noticeable cracks or chips.
