This is a cheese slicer from WMF, the number one kitchen and tableware brand in Germany. Made of stainless steel with a wire, it's a dedicated slicer for soft foods like cheese and butter. About ten years ago, I bought several items, including knives, at a WMF sale in a department store, but I didn't know how to use this item and it sat unused in a drawer in my cupboard. I'm decluttering, and after researching this item, I found out it's a cheese slicer. It seems to be a discontinued product and is now a rare item. It's very stylish and would be great to use at parties!
