Thank you for viewing. This is a genuine horseshoe pickup for Rickenbacker 4001V63, 4001C64, etc. It was used on a 4001V63 and its operation has been confirmed. I am selling it because I no longer need it after replacing it with a Lollar real magnet horseshoe pickup. It's a Rickenbacker sound reminiscent of Paul McCartney of Wings and Chris Squire of Yes. For spares or repairs for 4001, 4001V63, 4001C64, etc. Attaching it to a 4003 or 4003S will give it a vintage look. Ry Cooder once put a similar lap steel pickup on a Strat, so it might be interesting to mount it on a Fender or Gibson bass.
