This crystal was produced at an altitude of 3800m on the high ground of the Licancabur Mountain [elevation 5916m], south of the Uyuni Salt Flats, where the ruins of the large Inca Empire are located. It is a crystal that has become frosted glass-like after being exposed to the harsh earth and wind for a long, long time.
