At first glance, it's solid black, so it can be worn over a suit, over a formal wedding dress, or of course, for everyday wear. The neckline can be worn in two ways: open like a collar, or fastened with a hook for a turtleneck-like look. The length is about mid-thigh. I loved it so much, so there's a little wear on the sleeve fabric, but it's still in good condition without any noticeable scratches or stains, and I think it can still be worn.
