CDs were developed by Sony in 1978. They were very expensive when they were first released, and I, a poor student at the time, couldn't afford them. This CD is part of an 80-CD collection of classical music titled "THE GREAT COLLECTION OF CLASSICAL MUSIC" (World Classical Music System) released by CBS Sony in 1980. I should have had the complete set, but for some reason, four CDs are missing. Therefore, I can't sell them as a complete set, so I'm selling them individually at a bargain price. This piece is considered one of the three major violin concertos, along with those by Mendelssohn and Brahms, and I personally believe it's the best among the many violin concertos. It's not flashy, but it feels like a philosophical resonance. The performance features Isaac Stern on violin, Daniel Barenboim conducting the New York Philharmonic. It's been about 40 years since I acquired it, but apart from some slight fading on the spine, the case and the CD itself are in perfect condition, and I think it's a beautiful item. The commentary is included in a separate booklet, so it's not included here. #ClassicalMusicCD #3MajorViolinConcertos
