The slim fit allows for layering with base layers and thin mid-layers. The hood is adjustable with a single pull and doesn't constrict the ears, and the cords and cuffs are neat and lightweight. The cuffs are partially elasticized, and the hem has a drawcord. The jacket can be stored in the chest pocket, which has a reinforced carabiner loop that can be attached to a hydration pack. The shell and front zipper are treated with DWR (Durable Water Repellent).
