Details are unknown. The texture feels like a combination of corduroy and velvet. It feels somewhat heavy. It has an inner button closure. The seam of the front closure is slightly off its original position. I don't think it's very noticeable (see photo 12). Although it's unused, it's an old item. Please consider purchasing only if you understand and accept the condition. Perhaps you could have a skilled tailor remake it... I think the old fabric is good (personal opinion).
