I purchased this new and used it thoroughly. There are no answers written in, but there are a few pages in both books that I found difficult, with red circles or triangles marked on them. There are about 2 or 3 pages like this in each book. Overall, they are clean and there's no problem with solving the problems. Set of 2 books, will not sell separately.
