This item is made from a disassembled and washed vintage silk kimono. It's easy to tie without the need to fold an obiage (decorative sash), and its short length allows it to fit neatly under the obi (sash). It comes with a rubber band to secure the obiage. There's a space in the middle to insert an obimakura (obi pillow). Photos 4 and 5 show a 9cm x 25cm obimakura inserted for reference. The obimakura is not included, so please use your own. There is a 5cm opening with a 3cm gap from the opening where gauze can be threaded through. I made it a little wider. It can also be used for hanhaba obi (half-width obi) or Ginza musubi (a type of obi knot) even without an obimakura.
