This guitar was purchased from Ishibashi Music and has been professionally set up with a refret, a bone nut replacement, and PLEK adjustment, totaling approximately 100,000 yen. It is being offered for sale due to equipment consolidation. This model made a significant impact on the history of Martin guitars. The Performing Artist Series, which debuted with a completely new concept, was the flagship "electric-acoustic model" within the series. It features a GP body, a new body shape, and is equipped with the F-1 Aura System, co-developed with Fishman. The AURA preamp electronically converts the string vibrations picked up by the under-saddle piezo, allowing for the simulation of various realistic microphone recording sounds and sound creation. Based on data recorded with condenser and tube microphones to realistically reproduce the natural sound of this instrument, sound presets are also available. The simple layout includes a tuner, equalizer (for Piezo & Mic Image), anti-feedback, phase switch, and compressor. The GP body, designed to be versatile without being too large or too small, is joined by a PA taper neck. Combined with the cutaway body, this detail allows for extremely smooth fingering up to the high positions. The feeling is characterized by no noticeable difference between the low and high positions, accommodating various playing styles. The appearance is also befitting of a top-of-the-line model, with a design full of attention to detail. Modern approaches such as the new design of the belly bridge, the angular head design with a small vertical logo, the new position inlay pattern called Arrows and Squares, and wood binding using Ovangkol provide a luxurious feel. -Condition- Overhaul adjustments have been made, resulting in an excellent playing setup. While there are some signs of aging, minor scratches, and buckle rash, there is no significant damage, and it is a clean instrument that has been well-maintained. This is an excellent electric-acoustic guitar with a wide range of deep, natural sound typical of Martin guitars, a depth that flexibly adapts to various playing styles, and a variety of sound creation possibilities.
