It can be used immediately by connecting the included power cable and Thunderbolt cable. There are no noticeable scratches, but it has been used for several years, so there are small scratches and scuffs that can be seen depending on the light and angle. Also, there is a dead pixel on the left edge of the screen (photos 5 and 6). It is also visible in photo 4. I think it's in a place that is not very distracting, but please check the photos carefully.
