This model is now discontinued, and personally, I find it much more appealing than the recent Beckmans. Beckmans from this era are known for sole hydrolysis, but the half sole and heel were replaced with Vibram soles a year ago, so there are no issues. Most boots on the used market only have the half sole replaced, leaving the original heel. I think it's better to have the heel replaced as well if you plan to wear them for a long time. Also, the shoelaces were replaced with new ones just three months ago. The boots are in good condition because I've been regularly maintaining them. The price is set considering the sole replacement and the fact that they are discontinued.
