I made a shoehorn from a used skateboard. (The original board is from Deathwish, a popular brand with a core fanbase.) The colorful layers of the skateboard add a vibrant touch to your entryway. Length: 54 cm (measured without the string) Width: 4.5 cm at the widest point. The scratches from skateboarding are intentionally left as is, but the entire surface has been smoothed with 600-grit sandpaper. Lacquer finish. Skateboards are made of Canadian maple, a very strong material. It is said that it takes 30 to 80 years for the wood to grow before it is harvested. I created this with the intention of giving this valuable material a second life, rather than discarding it. Scratches from skateboarding are preserved. Also, as this is all handmade, please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for perfection.
