Two large, hand-painted sake cups (guinomi) from Inkyuzan-yaki, featuring beautiful crab and shrimp designs. Comes with a matching box. The earthenware has a wonderfully rich texture. Inkyuzan-yaki is known as the garden pottery of the Tottori clan. Includes a document explaining the origins of Inkyuzan-yaki, making it highly recommended. It appears to be an item gifted to the Watanabe family, an old local family (box has a dedication). The condition is good, please check the images.
