The inside of the lid has a box inscription by Sekio Fukumoto of the Daitoku-ji school, the top of the lid has the inscription "Koji" (Good Day) by Sekio Fukumoto, and the inside of the lid has a kao (signature). The container is made by combining bamboo and finished in an octagonal shape. There are no stains, cracks, or chips. The matching box has some slight discoloration.
