This is a handbag made by upcycling a retro patterned obi (sash). The obi core has been removed, making it very soft. It can also be made into a drawstring bag by pulling the side strings. It's soft and lightweight, and surprisingly popular as a hospital bag for the elderly, due to the ease of opening and closing compared to hooks or magnets. It's a shame it's difficult to convey in the photos, but the shape and pattern are quite cute, so I recommend it. Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for the perfection of a mass-produced product. The fabric has been washed with delicate detergent after the obi was unraveled. There may be residual odors, color transfer, stains, and needle holes unique to old fabrics. It will be folded and simply packaged.
