I had temporarily stopped listing, but I am relisting after the following maintenance: ① Replaced the magic eye 6E5 (photo 2), which now fluoresces and detects tuning. ② Repaired the cabinet, including simple painting and correction of wood warping. ③ Replaced the speaker cord from the chassis (photo 3). AM reception is possible, but there is static. The resistors and capacitors in the internal circuit are original, so replacement may be necessary. A Chugoku Electric Power capacity certification sticker is attached (photo 5). This radio is believed to be from around 1954, when expensive television receivers began to appear, and when people longed for television. I acquired it about 40 years ago in the now-defunct Hiroshima Danbara antique district. Suitable for those looking for a Showa-retro ST-tube radio.
