These are rare, handmade chopsticks crafted from old red sandalwood. Old red sandalwood is known as the "wood of the gods." Its international trade is restricted, making it extremely rare and highly valued for use in luxury furniture and musical instruments. It changes color upon exposure to air, transitioning to a "red" or "crimson-like dark red." Each chopstick is individually shaped using a belt sander and meticulously finished entirely by hand.
