Sleeve length: Approximately 45cm Length: Approximately 1m 52cm This is an Edo-zuma pattern, an old tomesode (formal black kimono) where both the front and back panels have similar designs. There are also patterns on the inside hem. The patterns on the front panel are outlined with dorokin (gold mud), making them gorgeous. They are drawn in fine detail. The material is soft, supple, and lustrous, made of kinsha crepe. It is pure silk. The lining is beni-kinu (red silk). There is a thin layer of cotton in the hem. As shown in the image, there is a black stain on the wing of the crane. The crane on the inside has a similar appearance, so it may be a dye unevenness. I couldn't capture it in the images, but there are several such stains, please understand. There is color unevenness, like sun fading, around the back of the knees, as shown in the image. The color is a beautiful black. The seams of the miyatsuguchi (armhole opening) are slightly undone. It has five family crests. I collect antique kimonos because I love them, but I am currently organizing my collection.
