This is a 40g package of slightly imperfect yuzu (10g extra). It mainly contains the ends of the yuzu slices, but also includes pieces with missing shapes, missing centers, and less vibrant colors. Please refer to the photos. This is a simple, slightly imperfect yuzu tea. It uses yuzu harvested from trees grown in fields without pesticides or chemical fertilizers. The yuzu is sliced and dried in the sun for 5-6 days. It's been bathed in plenty of sunlight, concentrating the rind and juice. The taste is slightly bitter and quite sour. Yuzu is highly nutritious and has various benefits, especially the vitamin C content in the rind, which is among the highest of citrus fruits, reportedly three times that of lemons. It's perfect for vitamin replenishment in the cold winter. The amount depends on your preferred strength, but it should be enough for about 10-15 cups. The brewing method depends on the shape of the pieces (some are ends, some are halves, etc.), but use about 2 pieces per cup and let it steep. If you let it steep for a longer time, you'll get a yuzu tea with a unique aroma and a tangy flavor. Since the rind is nutritious, you can also eat the rehydrated yuzu. Adding honey or other sweeteners makes it sweet and sour and easier to drink. When added to black tea, it can be used as a substitute for lemon.
