The base wobbled, so I welded a bar to hold it down. The wire mesh was difficult to open, so I welded bolts to make it easier to open. I've roasted beans many times in this condition, so I think it can be used without any problems. The bolts get very hot after roasting, so touching them with bare hands will cause burns.
